I would have to say that my first inspiration to become a photographer came from my father.
His excitement for the medium intriged me, I remember it vividly, I couldn't have been more than five years old, my father and I were at the local airport on a late summer afternoon.
I watched closey as he framed up a shot of a P-51 Mustang, a vintage WWII combat fighter.

After he took the shot he asked me if I would like to see...

Looking through the camera I became mesmorized by the play of the color light and shadow.
The sun setting, it's light glinting off the wings of the mighty aircraft, the distorted reflection of the deep crimson sky off of the highly polished alunimium wings.

I began to imagine the powerful aircraft rolling and diving in a dogfight for its very life....
The camera seemed to be a wonderus gaget, it seemed like magic to me...
The camera was able to tell me a story about the Mustang.

Since that day I have been telling stories ever since....
